(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Museums and Idam, an Alain Ducasse restaurant, are celebrating the spirit of giving in the holy month of Ramadan this year by donating 5% of Idam's Suhoor menu price to Doha-based Sheikh Eid Charitable Association.
Located at the Museum of Islamic Art, Idam offers a "memorable Ramadan experience with a specially designed Suhoor menu and a tribute to the tradition of hospitality and generosity in support of those directly affected by poverty or crisis in the Gulf and Middle East region," according to a statement.
Commenting on the importance of the initiative, Mansoor bin Ebrahim al-Mahmoud, acting CEO at Qatar Museums, said: "We are pleased to be partaking in a truly worthy cause in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, supporting Sheikh Eid Charitable Association in its commendable efforts to help those who are less fortunate. At Qatar Museums, it is our aim to help enrich the quality of people's lives and support philanthropic causes across the region in order to achieve a better future for generations to come."
An organisation close to Qatar Museums, Sheikh Eid Charitable Association "dedicates its efforts to providing aid to the needy and promoting voluntary pursuits in the community. Working effortlessly to improve the quality of people's lives, the charity has a global reach - from Qatar to different parts of the world", the statement notes.
