Qatar- HMC revises working hours during Ramadan


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its Ramadan working hours.

All emergency services across HMC's network of hospitals will continue to operate 24/7. Hamad General Hospital's Outpatient (OPD) morning clinics will run from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday. Evening clinics will be open from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.

Satellite pharmacies at HGH's Paediatric OPD on the second to fourth floor of the hospital will open from 8am to 1pm. The main OPD pharmacy located on the ground floor will open from 8am to 2pm and from 8.30pm to midnight.

The HGH blood test OPD laboratory will open from 7am to 2pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 8am to 1pm on Saturday. For evening clinics, the OPD Laboratory will open from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.

Women's Hospital OPD will open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday, and in the evening from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, Sunday to Wednesday. Women's Hospital Pharmacy will continue to operate 24/7.

Al Wakra Hospital's OPD will open from 8am to 1pm (Sunday to Thursday) and will also open 8pm to11pm (Sunday to Wednesday). The OPD pharmacy will have the same timings.

The Obstetrics/Gynaecology clinic will open from 8am to 4pm (Sunday to Wednesday) and from 8am to 1pm on Thursday. Physiotherapy will operate from 8am to 1pm (Sunday to Thursday) and from 8pm to 11pm on Monday and Wednesday.

OPD Clinics at The Cuban Hospital will open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday. Some clinics will have extended hours but patients booked for these clinics will be contacted individually to confirm appointments.

After hours emergency dental services for treatment such as emergency dental work and temporary fillings will be available to walk-in patients. The OPD pharmacy will open from 8am to 1pm or when any clinics are open. The Emergency Department pharmacy is open at all time for urgent prescription refills.

OPD Clinics at the Heart Hospital will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday. There will be no evening clinics at the hospital throughout Ramadan. Evening clinics will resume on July 26 from 3.30pm to 7.30pm.

Al Khor Hospital's OPD and pharmacy will open from 8am to 1pm while the Emergency Department's pharmacy is operational 24/7.

OPD Clinics and Pharmacy at Rumailah Hospital (RH) will operate only a morning shift from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday. The Dental Clinic will be open in the morning from 8am to 1pm, and in the evening from 8pm to 10.30pm. The Dermatology Clinic will be open from 8am to 1pm.

RH's Hands Unit will be open from 7am to 3pm and from 11am to 7pm every day except Mondays. The Maxillofacial Unit will operate an evening shift from 8.30pm to 11pm from Sunday to Tuesday. The Tuberculosis Clinic will be open from 8am to 5 pm and the DOTS Therapy unit will see patients from 7pm to 10pm. There will be no evening clinics at the Psychiatry and Geriatrics departments.

The Physiotherapy Clinic at RH will operate from Sunday to Thursday as follows: National Centre for Cancer Care and Research's (NCCCR) Neuro-Physiotherapy Section 7am to 3pm) Male Out-Patient Orthopaedic Physiotherapy 7am to 11pm; and Female Out-Patient, Physiotherapy 7am to 3pm and 5pm to midnight.

The NCCCR OPD Clinics will be open from 8am to 1pm every day except on Fridays and Saturday. The OPD Pharmacy will operate from 8am to 1pm daily except on Fridays. The Unit Dose IV Admixture section will open 24/7 while the Chemotherapy section will open from 8am to 2pm every day except Fridays.

The Narcotic section will operate from 8am to 1pm daily except on Fridays and Saturdays. The Day Care Unit will be open from 7am to 3pm every day except on Fridays. The OPD evening clinic will be open every Tuesday from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.

The Referral and Booking Management System will operate from 7am to 10pm, Sunday to Thursday. Referrals will be collected as usual from centres throughout Doha and patients will be called to book their first visit appointments.

The Hamad Patient Contact Centre will operate from 7am to 10pm, Sunday to Thursday and from 10am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday. Patients requiring any information can call 44395777 during these times to inquire about or change their appointments.
