Qatar- 3.309mn kilos of sugar rejected


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has rejected an imported cargo of 132,000 sacks of white sugar weighing 3.309mn kilos, for violating the health and technical regulations of the GCC in particular about transportation as per the Law No.GSO148/2008 about sugar.

According to the SCH, the cargo was rejected after a routine inspection on food cargoes by the unit at the Doha port.
