(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) UN Secretary General's Special Representative to Syria Staffan de Mistura arrived in Beirut on Sunday en route to Syria for talks with government officials over the conflict, official news agency reported.
UN officials dealing with the Syrian crisis usually use Rafiq Al-Hariri airport before continuing their journey to neighboring Syria.
De Mistura began in early June a series of consultations with different Syrian parties to put a comprehensive approach to end the armed conflict on the basis of the communique of the June 2012 Geneva conference.
