New Terrorist Groups In Iraq, Yemen Threaten Gulf Peace

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The GCC Undersecretaries of Interior ministries during their meeting in Riyadh will discuss the current security situation, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting reliable sources. This came following reports about the existence of new terrorist organizations which have sprung up in Yemen and Iraq to undermine the internal security of the GCC countries. The sources indicated the meeting will also discuss coordination between the security services and the exchange of information, in addition to the exchange of names of suspects who will then be put under surveillance.

Changes finalized: The parliamentary Interior and Defense Committee has finalized amendments to the Surveillance Cameras Bill, which will presented to the National Assembly for voting in its upcoming session, reports Al-Shahid daily quoting sources. Sources revealed the revised bill states that the surveillance camera records will be kept for 120 days, instead of 90, to ease procedures for the investigation authorities or the court in view of the previous experiences of some countries.
