(MENAFN- QNA) Foreign Minister of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met on Sunday with Special Representative of the United Nations' Secretary-General for Iraq Jan Kubis, .
They discussed the political and security situation in Iraq and the efforts the UN is making in the country which still suffers from a worsening security situation and continuing terrorist acts.
Emirati news agency WAMA reported today that the two sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
