Lebanese Army arrests Five Suspected in Arsal


(MENAFN- QNA) The Lebanese army announced Sunday the arrest of five Syrians in Arsal border region with Syria on suspicion of belonging to armed organizations.

Army units arrested citizen Abdul Rahman Mohammad Ghadadi in Arsal, for transferring from the town's outskirts three Syrians suspected of belonging to terrorist organizations, a communique by the Lebanese Army indicated on Sunday.

Ghadadi was also arrested for driving a pick-up truck without legal papers.

Moreover, In a Faour town , the army apprehended Syrian Ahmed al-Mohammad who was suspected of belonging to a terrorist group. He also admitted to have communicated with some terrorists.

All five were handed over to the competent authority to start investigations.
