Jordan Expatriates Conference convenes on 28 July


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Nasser Judeh, said the ministry, under the directions of His Majesty King Abdullah II, is keen to follow-up on and communicate with Jordanians abroad and provide them with various facilities.

Judeh, who is also deputy prime minister, made the remarks during a meeting with a number of journalists yesterday.

He said the Jordan Expatriates Conference, scheduled for 28-30 July under Royal auspices and titled "Jordan brings us together," is aimed at ensuring more attention to Jordanians abroad and enhancing communication with them.

He noted that the conference is designed to strengthen ties between expatriates and their homeland by addressing the challenges they face, developing sustainable mechanisms for partnership, promoting economic development and providing an improved level of service.
