KSE benchmark settles in the green zone


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Trades at Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE), the national bourse, closed on Sunday with the benchmark gaining 7.24 points settling at 6,290 points.

Weighted index, the second key index, inched upward by 0.05, but Kuwait-15 index lost 5.32 points.

Value of traded shares reached, upon closing, KD 21.09 million, volume turnover 215.5 million shares, done in 4,023 transactions.

The KSE is one of the main bourses in the Gulf region. According to a weekend report by Bayan Investment Co., the KSE capital value reached, last week, about KD 27.96 billion, up by 0.001 percent, compared to the week before. (KD equals USD 3.31).
