Arab Parliament to discuss regional developments in closing session


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The current political situation in the Middle East, especially in Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Libya and Iraq will be the main focus of discussion at the closing session of Arab Parliament to be held tomorrow at the Egyptian capital.

The sixth and closing session of the Arab Parliament's third regular annual session of its first legislative term will be held Sunday at the Arab League headquarters under the presidency of Arab Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan.

Qatar is represented by a delegation comprising Advisory Council members Yusuf Rashid Al Khater and Mubarak Ghanem Al Ali as well as Arab Parliament member Dr Aisha Yusuf Al Mannai and legal adviser Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Shahbik, reports QNA.

In statements today, Al Jarwan stressed the significance of the session as it comes at the end of the legislative term, noting that it will focus on Arab developments in Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Libya and Iraq as well as the parliament's recent activities.
