Weak Earthquake Hits Ranau in Malaysia


(MENAFN- QNA) A weak earthquake measuring 3.3 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Ranau in the Malaysian state of Sabah last night.
The epicenter of the quake was 6.0 degrees north and 116.7 degrees east, about 6km southeast of Ranau, the Malaysian Meteorological Department said.
Ranau is still reeling from a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that struck on June 5, claiming 18 lives.
