Awqaf MinistryCalls for Sighting of Ramadan Crescent
(MENAFN- QNA) The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf (Islamic Endowments) and Islamic Affairs has called upon all Muslims living in Qatar to sight the Ramadan crescent on Tuesday evening, 29th of Shaban 1436 Hijri , corresponding to June 16 2015.
The committee in a statement on Saturday asks whoever witnesses the crescent should to head to the ministry headquarters located in Dafna (Towers) area to report his testimony. The committee will meet immediately after the Maghreb (sunset) prayer.
