Wilson NC (June 12 2015) - Jesta Bouie is a sheer example of exceptional grit and determination who has challenged the odds and hostile circumstances in order to follow the virtuous path. She became a teenager mother her senior year in high school and was homeless due to her mother’s drug addiction thus making her grow up quickly. Even though she is survivor of child abuse neglect domestic violence (all forms) she did not only survived but answered the call from God of speaking out against it. The answer to the mandate given by God she become a motivational speaker against Domestic Violence against Women & Children Child Abuse & Neglect Child Rape & Incest. She has a true passion to help anyone who has suffered and survived any kind of violence and has served as a consultant & a motivational speaker for the Healing & Restoration for the Battered & Abuse.
She grew up watching her late grandmother be a community mother and grandmother to the children in the community and that is truly where her passion comes from. She is also known as “Auntie J & Mama “J” to numerous children throughout High Point & Greensboro North Carolina. She believes that: “It takes a village to raise a child but it takes education and economics to raise a village!”
The 2015 TPW Awards will be held June 26-27 2015 in Greenville North Carolina at the Greenville Convention Center at the 2015 "FRESH FIRE" Empowerment Conference.
