Australia's Melbourne IT to purchase USD67m Outware Mobile


(MENAFN) Melbourne IT is set to complete a USD67 million takeover deal of Outware Mobile, the Australian app developer which Melbourne IT has previously acquired 50 percent stakes in, The Australian reported.

The entire acquisition, if processed successfully, is going to be finalized over the upcoming two years. Outware Mobile presently enjoys a number of 115 employees with offices in Melbourne and Sydney.

The founders of Outware Mobile, which services customers like Google and Telstra, are to remain in their respective positions after the transaction.

"This partnership means we will provide both Outware Mobile and MIT customers with a broader range of capabilities and leverage the expertise Melbourne IT have," the Director of Outware Mobile said.
