Egypt opens Rafah border crossing for 3 days
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Egypt decided to open the Rafah border crossing in both directions for three days from Saturday to Monday, border officials said.
Palestine Embassy in Cairo said the decision came in response to the request from the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to make conditions easier for the people of Gaza ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Palestinian Embassy expressed in a statement sincere thanks to Egypt and the concerned bodies for alleviating the suffering of the people in the Gaza Strip.
