(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The index of wholesale price in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stood in the month of May 2015 at (156.6) points compared to (156.2) for the month of April 2015, which means a rise in May index by (0.2%) compared to index in the previous month of April.
The Department of General Statistics and Information in its monthly report to Saudi Press Agency 'SPA' attributed that to the changes in the major sections consisting of a standard number for wholesale prices.
The Department revealed that the general index of wholesale prices for the month of May 2015, compared to its counterpart of the previous year (May 2014), witnessed a decline of (1.2%), and that due to the changes in the major sections consisting of a standard number for wholesale prices.
