EU, Latin American leaders hold talks on trade, diplomatic ties


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Around 40 leaders from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean are meeting in Brussels on Wednesday for two days of talks focused on trade relations and diplomatic ties, as well as global
issues such as climate change, dpa reported.

The partnership between the European Union and the Community of Latin
American and Caribbean States (CELAC) comprises 61 countries, home to
more than 1 billion people.

Despite strong historical and cultural ties, officials have called
for greater efforts to improve political and economic relations.
