(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Egyptian military and security forces have killed five militants in the volatile Northern Sinai Peninsula.
The Egyptian News Agency (MENA) reported Tuesday that 16 others were arrested in a raid on the militants' hideouts in area.
Two smuggling tunnels between Egypt and Gaza Strip were demolished and a roadside bomb was discovered and safely exploded by the bomb disposal unit, it added.
