Qatar Diar honours 39 outstanding employees
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Diar has recognised 39 outstanding employees and highlighted the company's latest achievements during the annual town hall staff meeting held on Monday.
The meeting, held under the auspices of the Minister of Finance HE Ali Sherif al-Emadi, was attended by top management and employees, who celebrated the company's achievements on the domestic and international level amid the completion of the first phase of an ambitious five-year business plan launched in 2014.
In his keynote speech, al-Emadi, who is also chairman of Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, congratulated the employees for receiving the Group CEO Award for outstanding performance.
"I'm pleased to join you and highlight our accomplishments both locally and abroad. I'm also proud of Qatari Diar's employees, who, thanks to their commitment and dedication, have contributed to our success beyond expectations, and I'm confident that our company will continue to excel," the minister said.
Group CEO Khalid al-Sayed said the meeting presented an opportunity for Qatari Diar employees to interact with top management and discuss upcoming projects.
"Qatari Diar's management believes in the importance of celebrating its accomplishments with its employees because those achievements wouldn't have materialised if it weren't for our staff," al-Sayed said.
He added, "We have achieved many of the objectives outlined by the board of directors and we will continue our journey with the same enthusiasm to achieve our remaining goals, and particularly enhancing our human capital through world-class training sessions and workshops."
Al-Sayed also highlighted future challenges and opportunities and discussed the objectives in line with the five-year business plan entitled "Let's Make the Next 5 Years Count." He added that it continues this year under the title "Let's Work 4 it!"
