(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar has welcomed the resumption of the Libyan national dialogue in the Moroccan city of Skhirat under the aegis of the United Nations Secretary General's Special Representative Bernardino Leon.
In a statement, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on all parties to accept the draft political agreement prepared by the UN mission to Libya, and to take part in the dialogue which aims to form a national coalition government that achieves the requirements of the Libyan people and preserves Libya's sovereignty and its territorial integrity.
The ministry expressed the hope that this will contribute in the formation of a secure, stable and prosperous future in Libya, especially in the light of the current challenges.
