Jordan's prime minister receives delegation from Japan's Mitsubishi Corp.


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour, on Monday, met with a delegation from Japan's trading house Mitsubishi Corp., led by the corp's senior adviser Mikio Sasaki.

The prime minister listened to a briefing on Mitsubishi's investments and projects in the Kingdom, especially in the traditional and renewable energy field.

Sasaki said the corporation's investments in Jordan comprise 16 percent of the volume of investments in the energy domain in addition to ventures in the fertilizers industry.

The prime minister said Jordan is keen on attract additional Japanese investments, commending the relationship between Jordan and Japan as a model partnership.

Ensour emphasized that government is determined to press ahead with renewable energy projects and investments.
