42 Iraqi artists display works in exhibition hall


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Forty-two Iraqi artists are displaying their works in an exhibition held at the exhibition hall in Abdullah Al-Salem Area, jointly organized by the National Council for Culture, Art and letters (NCCAL) and Kuwait Energy company.

NCCAL and Kuwait Energy are joining hands to organize this exhibition, which features major Iraqi artists who belong to different schools and generations, Mohammad Al-Asousi, NCCAL's Assistant Secretary General for Art, said at the opening of the seven-day exhibition.

He said the exhibition would boost cultural and artistic exchange between Kuwait and Iraq.

Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom said these cultural activities would contribute to building "civilizational and human bridges" among peoples.

He thanked NCCAL and Kuwait Energy for organizing the exhibition.
