Kuwait oil price up to USD 58.10 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's crude oil price on Monday rose by nine cent to USD 58.10 per barrel compared to USD 57.20 pb on Friday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Tuesday.

At world oil markets, crude oil prices fell more than one percent with continued worries about oversupply and Chinese demand decline as the release of official data indicated that China, the largest importer of oil in the world, bought quantities of crude oil in May, less than 25 percent compared to April.

Brent crude went down by 62 cents to USD 62.69 pb and US crude for future contracts also dropped, by 99 cents to USD 58.14 pb
