KSE trading lackluster early in Tuesday's session


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Benchmark of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) edged 0.62 reaching 6,273 points in early trades on Tuesday but weighted index inched down, 0.3, likewise Kuwait-15, 1.1 points.

Value of traded shares reached KD 941,000, volume turnover some 18 million shares, done in 318 deals.

The lackluster atmosphere at the Kuwaiti bourse early today came after the KSE closed Monday's session, with the benchmark posting record fall, shedding up to 56.68 points, dropping to the level of 6,272. The weighted index, also in yesterday's session conclusion, edged down by 1.6 points but the Kuwait-15 index inched up by 0.17. Value of traded shares had reached KD 17.6, volume turnover approximately 255 million shares, done in 4,748 deals.

USD has been stable against the Kuwaiti dinar, trading at KD 0.302.
