(MENAFN- Arab Times) Director General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of Ministry of Interior Brigadier Adel Ahmad Al- Hashash says the cooperation of citizens and expatriates with securitymen can achieve real security in the country and will affirm their keenness and responsibility towards the security and safety of the homeland and its citizens, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
He said the country's security is being upheld based on a plan involving integrated institutional foundations despite changes in the regional situation, due to which everyone is expected to be cautious and vigilant particularly since some are trying to spread rumors in this regard on social networking sites.
Brigadier Al-Hashash said, "We are confident that the citizens and expatriates will not believe everything they come across on such websites. The security plan that was implemented recently has achieved great success, thanks to the fruitful and constructive cooperation among all spectrums of society". He explained that the Security Media Department has been exercising its role of informing citizens and expatriates about the reality of the security situation with complete transparency and clarity, affirming that the security agencies are performing their roles and duties with all vigilance and readiness.
