King River Copper banks research and development tax refund

King River Copper (ASX:KRC) has received a tax rebate of $317555 under the Federal Government’s Research and Development Tax Incentive Scheme for research conducted as part of its exploration program during 2014 financial year.

The funds will be used to support further exploration and working capital.

Earlier this month the company discovered a new surface sample of massive sulphide with hand held Niton XRF values of 39-46% copper near the central IP anomaly west of Catto at Speewah Dome in Western Australia.

It also recently completed reverse circulation drilling with assays pending.
