Daytona Beach FL—June 8 2015— Inspired by an urban legend The Silver Star tells the story of Jacob Butler a World War II veteran who travels the world to hunt beings of the supernatural. There is a forbidden door that separates the mundane from the macabre and once it is opened there is no closing it. Butler and his crew learn that all too well as they find themselves fighting hordes of giants trolls werewolves and the things nightmares are made of.
This on-going comic book was written and created by Bryan Hoover and Christian Meincke but they weren’t alone in bringing it together. The talent behind the project makes it worth investing in alone. With a team from IDW Dark Horse Comics and DC Comics there is no wonder why this comic’s art looks so beautiful. The art is by Ron Joseph inked by Robert Doan and the colors by DC Comics published colorist Jesse Heagy.
Yet this team needs help in order to finish their comic so they launched a . The goal of this project is to raise $7000 by June 30 2015. The funds raised would help this action and horror driven comic be completed and printed so the world can hear the story of Jacob Butler and The Silver Star.
