(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Three security personnel were killed and four others were wounded on Sunday by armed gunmen at a checkpoint in Misrata, northwestern Libya, according to a security source.
Al-Hadi Hemida, a member of the city's security directorate, said the assailants attacked Buqreen checkpoint during the early hours of Sunday morning.
He accused Daesh-linked groups of carrying out the attack.
A number of security checkpoints in Misrata have been targeted by suicide car bomb attacks recently.
