(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors)Teathers Financial (LON:TEA) today revealed it has invested £50000 into San Leon Energy (LON:SLE). San Leon last week announced it was raising £29mln through a new share placing accompanied by a capital reorganisation. Cash raised through the placing is being earmarked for work programmes in Poland and Morocco. Teathers in accordance with its investment policy took part in the placing. Buying new shares priced at 80p each. Jason Drummond Teathers executive chairman in a statement said: "We are delighted to make another investment in line with our investing policy and look forward to providing further updates to shareholders in due course. 'We are now looking to build up our portfolio with longer term investments and we believe our investment in SLE fits this criterion."
