This service, exclusive to Ahli United Bank has been deployed across the extensive Ahli United Bank ATM network in Kuwait.
For the first time in Kuwait, customers are able to update their mobile phone number and provider without the need of a branch visit; saving time, effort and providing the added convenience of updating their communication details at any time.
This service coincides with the Bank launching new security measures for its electronic services to enhance and simplify the use of services delivered through electronic channels. These measures include issuing of a one-time code (also known as a one-time password or OTP) that is sent to the customer's mobile and registered e-mail address. These codes are utilized for securing and executing multiple functions across various channels. The single use nature of the password guarantees the maximum security for electronic transactions.
On this occasion, Mrs Huda Al- Madani - Assistant General Manager - Alternative Distribution Channels at Ahli United Bank, explained the operation of the mobile phone updating service through Ahli United Bank ATM machines. The service, available for Ahli United Bank customers allows for verification and update of both the mobile number and the service provider through easy to use menus designed especially for ATMs.
