(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: The Saudi-British Joint Business Council (SBJBC) will host the Saudi-British Partnership Forum (SBPF) on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in London later this year. This is aimed to further enhance bilateral cooperation in the SMEs sector.
A Council of Saudi Chambers' (CSC) spokesman said on Sunday that a delegation from the chamber comprising its working teams will visit the British capital this week to prepare the ground for the SBPF to be hosted in London in the last quarter of 2015.
During the upcoming visit the team will also participate in a round table discussion on various aspects of bilateral investment especially in the health care sector as it plays a key role in strengthening the trade and investment relationships between the two countries.
The forum is designed to help create more avenues in partnership by identifying new opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the SMEs.
Earlier the British capital also hosted the biannual meeting of the SBJBC in March when it reviewed business and partnership opportunities in key sectors including education health care infrastructure and technology and building on progress achieved since the SBJBC's last meeting in Riyadh in November 2014.
The Kingdom and Britain enjoy long-standing trade and investment ties and look forward to further strengthening their cordial relationship.
