Kuwait- Family Visit Visas Regulated

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The General Immigration Department at the Interior Ministry has started regulating the issuance of family visit visas and it has rejected the applications of the nationals of certain countries, particularly after noticing a remarkable increase in the number of such applications before the holy month of Ramadan, reports Al-Anba daily quoting reliable sources.

Sources said the department has expressed concern over the entry of foreigners on visit visas to engage in begging during Ramadan.

Sources confirmed the ministry will take strict measures to prevent this negative phenomenon and it will immediately deport any visitor caught in the act of begging in front of mosques or other places.

Sources pointed out that Kuwait is a generous country but the collection of donations should be done in accordance with the law.
