Nahyan bin Zayed wins GCC humanitarian works award


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, has been awarded the Humanitarian Work Award of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Along with Sheikh Nahyan, the award, in its 4th edition, also named HRH Sheikh Khalid Al Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Governor of Makkah and Director General of King Faisal International Foundation, Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Bahraini Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf, Dr. Abdullah Al Matouq, Humanitarian Affairs Advisor to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Qatar Foreign Minister and Chairman of Qatar Fund for Development and Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, the General Mufti of Oman, as winners of the award.

Dr. Sheikh Abdul Al Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Ajman Government's Advisor for Environmental Affairs and Secretary General of Al Ihsan Charity Society, won the award for 'distinguished non-government organisation.'
