(MENAFN- QNA) HE Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qatar Media Corporation Sheikh Abdurrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al-Thani inaugurated on Sunday the media exhibition, which is being organized on the sidelines of the 23rd meeting of GCC information ministers scheduled to be held in Doha on Wednesday.
The inauguration of the expo, which continues until Thursday at Doha Sheraton Hotel, was attended by a number of senior media officials in the country.
HE Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Media Corporation toured the exhibition and was briefed by the organizers on its content and publications along with the organizers' role in various media aspects.
Featuring various local media bodies, the exhibition reflected the progress of media sector in Qatar, and will introduce the participants in the 23rd meeting of GCC information ministers to the progress and achievements attained by Qatari media.
The GCC information ministers are scheduled to hold their 23rd meeting in Doha on Wednesday.
Prior to their meeting, another exhibition accompanying the 23rd meeting of GCC information ministers will get underway on Tuesday to showcase various GCC media organizations.
