Palestinian FM, Czech Counterpart Discuss Cooperation Ties


(MENAFN- QNA) Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki confirmed the Palestinian leadership's determination to proceed ahead to issue a binding UN resolution to end the Israeli occupation, within a definitive timeframe aims of achieving a just comprehensive in the region.

Al-Maliki's remarks came after his meeting with his Czech counterpart Lubomir Zaoralek here today. Both sides discussed joint cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to further strengthen them in various fields.

Al-Maliki briefed Zaoralek on the ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people, their property and their holy sites. He stated that the Israeli government does not respect the international community's demands to stop its settlement policy which undermined the peace process and the two-state solution.

For his part, the Czech Foreign Minister expressed his country's desire to develop bilateral relations with the State of Palestine and to continue efforts to accelerate process of reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
