Four Afghan Soldiers, 13 Insurgents Killed in Military Operations


(MENAFN- QNA) Four Afghan soldiers and 13 militants have been killed in newest military operations across the country, Afghan ministries of defense and interior announced on Sunday.

A statement issued by spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Defense, General Zahir Azimi stated that the four soldiers have been killed in past 24 hours.

The statement did not specify the exact location of the incidents.

In the meantime, a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior stated that 13 militants have been killed and seven others wounded in military operations in past 24 hours.

The operations were conducted in Ghazni, Khost, Paktika, Paktiya, Badghis, Kandahar, Helmand, and Uruzgan provinces were several terrorist sanctuaries were also destroyed, the statement added.
