Kuwait- MoE Asks CSC To Exempt Some Kuwaitis


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ministry of Education has asked Civil Service Commission (CSC) to exempt Kuwaitis who do not hold educational qualifications and have not graduated from colleges of Education and Educational Foundation from the decision to ban secondment and transfer, reports Al-Rai daily quoting reliable sources.

They said the ministry also wants to exempt Kuwaitis who hold bachelors degree in engineering and science and are willing to work in the educational sector especially after the salary scale law was approved.

In the same context, Chairman of CSC Abdulaziz Al-Zebin has asked the Undersecretary of Ministry of Education Dr Haitham Al-Atari for an elaborate study on the issue especially the non-educational conditions for exemption from the decision. He asked for a statement regarding the specifications and qualifications required from retired teachers in case they return to work in the educational sector. He also requested for the conditions governing secondment and transfers
