(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Mannai Corporation employees have donated QR170,000 in response to Qatar Red Crescent's (QRC) appeal to help the victims of Nepal earthquake.
"The commitment to communities is an essential part of our corporate values. In response to the needs created by this disaster, Mannai employees and the management collectively raised the funds in favour of the Nepalese people," said Mohamed Mahmoud, general manager for human resources, Mannai Corporation.
Saad bin Shaheen al-Kaabi, director, at QRC, said, "I would like to express my deepest thanks to the officials and staff of Mannai Corporation for this generous donation. This reflects their sense of humanitarianism and their belief in the cause of charitable and social organisations in Qatar."
The donation will contribute to the relief efforts of QRC in Nepal.
