Qatar- Gold prices stable


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Customers at a jewellery shop in Doha yesterday. Gold prices have been stable for almost a week. Pure or 24-carat gold remains priced at QR143 a gramme and 18-carat gold, a favourite of most Filipinos, is being sold for QR110 per gramme. Jewellery is mostly made of 22-carat which was priced in the local market at QR134.5 per gramme. The rate of 21-carat was QR128.5 per gramme. Jewellers continue to charge high making fee varying from 17 percent to 25 percent of gold price.
