(MENAFN- QNA) The Israeli army has deployed Iron Dome missile defense batteries in several locations in the south, including one near the city of Ashdod, following several incidents of rocket fire from the Gaza Strip toward Israeli territory, Haaretz reported on Saturday.
Three rockets were fired at Israel on Wednesday evening. Two of them exploded in open areas in a community near the border, and the third in the Ashkelon area.
