France's trade deficit narrows to USD3.35b in April


(MENAFN) Customs figures showed that less imports has resulted in a smaller trade deficit for France in April to USD3.35 billion, Xinhua reported.

Over the past 12 months, the cumulative trade deficit reached USD55.92 billion in total, the released data showed.

Over the period, France recorded USD42.7 billion foreign sales in April, up 1.4 percent from March thanks to favorable performance in aeronautical exports.

In fact, Airbus sold 29 aircraft worth USD2.84 billion, up from 25 units offered in March which generated USD2.4 billion.
