(MENAFN- QNA) Several Israeli armored tanks on Friday penetrated Shijia neighborhood at the east of Gaza, where they went about several meters into the strip, according to Ma'an news agency.
Witnesses said four armored tanks penetrated the Shijia neighborhood , and proceeded to raze land while machine gunning randomly.
There were no reports of casualties in the area.
Israel has routinely violated the Palestinian-Israeli truce agreement since it was signed on Aug. 26.
