(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah on Thursday praised efforts of all the members of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government entities that have contributed to success of the 42nd ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Kuwait on May 27-28.
This came in the minister's speech during the honorary breakfast banquet, hosted by Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled at the Foreign Ministry; attended by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khaled Sulaiman Al-Jarallah, Ministry of Foreign Affairs departments' directors and representatives of the ministries and government institutions.
Sheikh Al-Khaled, during his speech, also extended greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to all employees in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their efforts and preparations for this ministerial meeting.
During his speech, he also praised the considerable efforts made by all the committees and working groups in the various ministries and state institutions such as the Amiri Diwan, the Ministry of Defense represented by Amiri Guard and the Interior Ministry, Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Health.
He also stressed that these efforts and distinctive organization of the session, which was held in difficult regional and international conditions, won the admiration of all the participating countries.
For his part, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khaled Sulaiman Al-Jarallah thanked First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister for this initiative to honor the participants and teams as well as thanking Chairman of the Protocol Department Ambassador Dhari Ajran Al-Ajran and employees in the administration on their efforts and their determination to ensure the success of this meeting.
Kuwait hosting for this ministerial meeting under the delicate and sensitive political conditions in the region, highlighted the distinctive abilities of all Kuwaitis to ensure the success of the meeting, he added.
