U.S. Nomad Holding acquires USD2.94m Iglo Food


(MENAFN) The United States' Nomad Holding Limited has finalized the USD2.94 million acquisition of Iglo Food, the European prime frozen food firm, a corporate statement said, The Silver Link reported.

After the deal, which was financed by existing cash and a private placement of USD795 million, Nomad will change its name to Nomad Food Limited and will start eying new settings for fostering more growth.

"The completion of this acquisition marks the start of Nomad's growth story. Through Iglo Group, Nomad has gained an established presence in Europe's fragmented frozen foods space," the co-founder and co-chairman of Nomad said.
