Three Taliban Local Leaders Killed in Afghanistan
(MENAFN- QNA) Commandos of Afghan's army have killed three senior Taliban commanders in the western Heart province.
Spokesman for special operations in Herat province, Nasiruddin Nastu Nasir, said that the Taliban commanders were killed during a precise operation in Adraskan District Wednesday night.
The operation was conducted to target Taliban’s den where the group was hiding, he added.
Afghan National Security Forces began an all-out hunt for militants after taking full responsibility of security for the country at the beginning of this year.
Hundreds of militants have been killed and their hideouts destroyed during these operations.
