(MENAFN- QNA) French Presidential Envoy, Jean-Francois Girault arrived in Beirut on Wednesday for a two-day visit.
during the visit the French envoy will be meeting with senior Lebanese officials including Speaker of the House Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Tammam Salam, Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Gebran Bassil, and others.
According to Labanon's news agency (NNA), talks will majorly focus on most recent developments on the Lebanese internal scene, especially in light of the ongoing presidential vacuum and France's keenness on holding swift presidential elections in Lebanon.
