Interpol Puts 6 Officials Linked to FIFA Scandal on Wanted List


(MENAFN- QNA) Interpol put two former FIFA officials and four corporate executives on its wanted list Wednesday for racketeering conspiracy and corruption.
The international police organization said it had placed "red notices" on the six at the request of the US authorities, dpa reported.
The US Attorney General's office indicted nine FIFA officials and five corporate executives in late May, including the six sought by Interpol.
