MoTC scotches rumours on faulty Sohar bridge project in Oman

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) has said that there are no faults or technical problems with the Sohar bridge.

In a statement on its Twitter account on Tuesday the ministry stated that a team comprising its officials the contractor and consultant visited the site after images questioning the faulty interlocking mechanism started circulating on social media sites.

MoTC has stated that there are no technical problems with the bridge.

'People have been asked not to pay heed to rumours without verifying from the executing agency which is MoTC' it said in the statement.
