Military air strike kills 9 militants in Pakistan
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) At least nine militants were killed in an air strike in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan on Wednesday.

According to sources the military jets pounded militant hideouts in the area. At least 13 terrorists were also injured in the assault.
Meanwhile during an attack on a check post of security forces in Frontier Region (FR) Bannu area one security forces personnel was killed and in retaliation forces killed three militants.
The Khadam Shaheed check-post 25km from Bannu was attacked by more than a dozen militants. Security officials cordoned off the area after the assault and initiated a search operation.
