Arabian Gulf League winners felicitated
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The players thanked the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continuous support to the sports.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received on Tuesday at Al Bahr Palace Al Ain Football Club team that won the UAE Arabian Gulf Football League for Professionals 2014- 2015.
He congratulated the administrative and technical staff and players for this achievement citing their efforts during the season that earned them the trophy. At the conclusion of the meeting the players thanked the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continuous support to the sports.
They also thanked Shaikh Mohammed for his follow-up adding that their roles were important in stimulating and encouraging the players to make efforts for the development of sports in the UAE and score various achievements.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Shaikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foreign Minister; and Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Chairman of Al Ain Club Football Company.
